Seventh-day Adventists Believe

That the great need of every human being is to know Christ. True religion is a personal relationship with Him who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. (Matt. 7:23; John 14:6,7; 17:3)

Under grace, not law, sin shall not have dominion over us. We are created in Christ Jesus unto good works. This includes keeping His Ten Commandments. (Ephesians 2:8-10; John 15:10; Revelation 22:14)

Because we love Him and would honor Him rather than men's traditions, we observe the seventh day of the week as the true Lord’s Day, a day established by Jesus at Creation and honored by Him in His earthly ministry. (Genesis 2:2,3; Exodus 20:8-11; Luke 4:16)

The Work of God is to be financed by tithes and offerings. (Malachi 3:8-11)

We observe the Ordinance of the Lord's Supper and the Ordinance of Humility. (John 13:1-8; 1 Corinthians 11:23-33).

Christians are to come out from the world, refraining from practices that would lead away from God.          (2 Corinthians 6:14-18)

Considering our bodies temples of the Holy Spirit, we believe in practicing healthful living.                         (1 Corinthians :19-20; 10:31)

We accept the "gift of the Spirit," including the Spirit of Prophecy. (Acts 1:8; Revelation 12:17; 19:10)

We follow the example of our Lord in Christian baptism, by immersion.(Matthew 3:13-17; Romans 6:3-6)

The second coming of Christ is our blessed hope. Those who "sleep in Jesus" will then arise, immortal and

incorruptible, to an inheritance that fadeth, not away. (John 14:1-3; 1 Corinthians 15:51-58;                         1 Thessalonians 4:13-17)

To all who seek the peace of Jesus and His power unto salvation, who will accept his yoke and the joy of His

service, we offer our fellowship. (Hebrews 10:25)
